Use Compare and Contrast Essay Examples to Teach Students to Do Research
Use Compare and Contrast Essay Examples to Teach Students to Do ResearchWhen students use compare and contrast essay examples, they can develop their own sense of consistency in argument, direction, and style. It is no accident that essay examples are arranged in alphabetical order. The order of the essay examples has nothing to do with their content or the truth of the contents in the examples, but only with the students' logic and deductive reasoning skills. The first instance of the comparison/contrast comparison appears as follows: in the letter in which I referred to the school board and said, 'we must take a long, hard look at how we make policy that affects children and their education,' I stated that our school board had a well-established tendency to respond to school concerns in the same old way. This was an example of the good old-fashioned truth in comparison. The point was made, using the example from the letter, that the board and its representatives have been using a st eady, 'old-fashioned' way of doing things in public schools for years. We must continue to strive to continue this kind of comparison and contrast as the common thread that binds successful children and their parents. When a parent or other caring person complains about some aspect of the school system, we must be willing to consider his or her complaint seriously. We must take the time to listen, respond, and then act on the complaints. One of the best ways to do this is by comparing and contrasting the parents' stories. The next example, in the fourth paragraph, makes this comparison in contrast to the education we got from our own community school system, then from the private school we attended. Then we were told, 'Since we are working very hard to keep our children in our neighborhood, we want the same for our state's children.' Again, a comparison is being made with a variation of the past to a more 'future-oriented' world.Sincerely, Here, the search world seems better than the old world where one kid might be an isolated orphan. The comparison and contrast this student and the parents used to make a difference is certainly an illustration of the point made in the first example. The need to continue this kind of comparison and contrast as we move into the future has been underscored many times in our written correspondence. We really should all make the effort to continue to compare and contrast the facts and opinions of those in our own life and those in the world beyond, even though we know the disparity can be 'very ugly.''A steady past'a future-oriented' world is not 'vague and undefined,' which is what the first letter in the first paragraph said, but 'clear and defined,' which is what the second letter in the first paragraph said. Further, they are not 'empty and meaningless,' which the first letter in the second paragraph said. And, it is not a 'statement of opinion,' which the first letter in the third paragraph said.'Remember that when you use com pare and contrast essay examples, it is not that the young reader will always read you as a skeptic or as someone who accepts what the elders say; the contrary. Compare and contrast essay examples also teach you that there is a purpose and a meaning in writing; in this case, an explanation of why the laws were written the way they were written, and why it makes sense to use the current government laws as a model for state and school policies. Therefore, it is important to not get too caught up in the rhetoric of the moment; rather, we must take the time to continue with our own research and to move forward with a purpose of applying those same principles, because we are trying to help our children.
